There is ALOT of technology for Virtual Assistants available these day, so this post is just going to cover a few that I believe are essentials!
Skype
It is super easy to set an account up with Skype and start making free calls over the internet. This is a very easy way to connect with potential clients for a discovery call or even progress calls to discuss particular projects. You can also use the program for conference calls (more than 2 callers) which is a fantastic way to stay in touch with subcontractors etc, particularly if working virtually and/or remotely.
Dropbox
This is a must have!! With Dropbox you can virtually file and share documents with others by providing them with a link. This means that you no longer have to lug around an outdated briefcase with documents – simply save them in your relevant Dropbox folder and access them wherever you have internet! Need a copy of a signed contract when you’re about to board a flight to Bali – no problem!
Canva
I WISH a had discovered Canva earlier – it would have saved me soooo much time trying to learn Photoshop to create beautiful, eye-catching graphics. You can upload your own photos, use one of their free photos, or even purchase stock photos to use. Add logos, text, quotes, diagrams – the list is endless. This application is extremely easy to use, and with a little practice using their provided tutorials, you will be a pro in no time!
Trello
Trello is like Pinterest for sticky notes. It helps to organise and prioritise notes and information. Share boards with team members or clients so everyone is on the same page.
